FreeBSD is now using Mailman for many lists, which keeps an archive at: http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-questions/ http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-questions.mbox/freebsd-questions.mbox That mbox file is 244MB in size, so I think that is what you are looking for.
