The log message is completely losing ("see unattached mail") so I couldn't find it in m_len in the logs and still don't know what was fixed except that it wasn't an spl bug. I remembered it because I had a different fix (?) for it. Rev.1.7 just initializes m->m_len = 0 after an MGETHDR(). It is in -current, so the current problem must be different. Bruce
