Date: Mon, 13 Dec 1999 22:19:52 -0500 From: "Brian J. McGovern" Sender: owner-freebsd-qa@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG There has been talk of 4.0-RELEASE dates on -current. I currently have an email in to Jordan to try to determine an exact date, so that we can schedule testing appropriately. Since 4.0 will be a "new product", I'd like to start testing (albiet probably lightly with the holidays) as soon as 3.4 ships. We should make use of the extra time to really shake the OS down, and see if we can turn 4.0 in to a fairly stable release. Anyhow, I will let everyone know what the target dates are as soon as I hear. -Brian To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-qa" in the body of the message
