FreeBSD cannot recognize `ed0', I do not know why. It seems there is a conflict between my CD-drive and my Ethernet card. I believe the problem is somthing related to FreeBSD because my system works properly under MS-DOS with the same configuration. Can anybody help me? My mouse is not working either, but I found something in the FAQ I have not tried. Thank you. Now, my system configuration: I own: HP Vectra VL2 486 SX/ 25Mhz 8 Mb RAM 170 Mb Quantum LPS 170A Hard Disk two partitions: -16Mb for MS-DOS (auxiliar) -the difference for FreeBSD os-bs for selecting active partition.
