Rebuild Mozilla _with_ GTK2 _and_ Xft support. This will require editing your mozilla[-devel]-gtk2 Makefile, and removing the WITHOUT_XFT line. I have no idea if this will work, but it something to try. Also, does Mozilla run okay?
