Strange errors begin to occur if I hot dock my IBM ThinkPad, or even dock it while suspended. This happens with all versions of Windows AND with UNIX. It's a shame they can't make this work. There's one kind of docking station, however, that probably WILL work: the kind that attaches via a PCMCIA slot. All the outboard peripherals just appear and disappear at once.
