Has anyone installed the Excite Search Engine (BSD version) on FreeBSD
2.2.x? I'm having problems with the indexing function exiting with
a signal 8 and sometimes dumping core. There's a Linux version as
well but haven't installed any Linux software and don't know if there
are problems with that.
