I'm looking at a new laptop, and one of my requirements is that I have some
way to get to a 9 pin serial port on the laptop so that I can access router
consoles.

Looks as if one option is a USB to serial adapter. I've seen two apparent
types. One is a Keyspan USB PDA Adapter. It's USB on one end and 9 pin
serial on the other. Are these supported under FreeBSD?

This device looks like it would be perfect for what I need. The only other
USB/Serial adapter I've seen is pretty big and not really suited for laptop
use.

Any ideas?

Ben
