As a replacement port for the now defunct "pgp4pine" port, the "Pine Privacy Guard" application (http://quantumlab.net/pine_privacy_guard/) is suggested. This is a simple Perl script which does not require any modifications specific to FreeBSD and works similarly to "pgp4pine".
