I'm taking a look at the page now, thanks. The setup is really simple: fbsdbox->ne2K adapter--- 10 base 2 ---ne2K pnp adapter<-wintel nt 4.0 Can't ping, ftp, or telnet, BUT, I get this from tcpdump when I finger myself (sic) from the nt box: (timestamp) arp who-has fbsdbox.garbage.com tell ntbox.garbage.com (timestamp) arp reply fbsdbox.garbage.com is-at 0:c0:d1:57:16:7d That is the correct hardware address for the fbsdbox interface.
