There's a few more things to do.  You need some kind of routing or 
aliasing.  Perhaps natd is what you need.  Are you using DHCP or PPP on 
your FreeBSD box?

Have a hunt around my website below.  I've documented the steps and 
failures I did to do what you're doing.  I used DHCP and natd.
