Hrmm, I've never even heard of smbfs before :)

I have samba-3.0 installed, I believe.  It is on my workstation at work,
which I cannot access remotely, and I do not use SMB at home.

I do know that, on my system at work, /sbin/mount_smbfs was installed by
the Samba port.
