I did it....managed to muddle through and figure out my problem on my own!!!!! I found out that kdestart was in kdebase-2.1.1.tgz (geez I must be psychic ;-P) downloaded it and used pkg_add with the -f switch and it put the file in place as it was needed and .......Voila!!! my KDE 2.1.1 is back!!!!!
