I think you misunderstood. The Yamaha and the AC'97
cards are seperate. However, I am going to try the pcm
driver and see what happens.

As for the previous message from Roderick, dmesg says
nothing about my sound card. Like I just said though,
I'm going to try the pcm driver and I'll let you know
how it works.
