I'm using FreeBSD 3.2 Release & KDE 1.1.1 I installed star office as per the instructions at http://www.serv.net/~mcglk/staroffice-install.html The install seemed to go OK, but when I ran it (as an ordinairy user - haven't tried root yet), it says: Making StarOffice directory tree in /home/(you)/Office51. (subdirectories . . . ) (symbolic links . . . ) (user directories . . . ) Done. & then it does a core dump. I read another posting: http://www.FreeBSD.org/cgi/getmsg.cgi?fetch=1348341+1349920+/usr/local/www/db/text/1999/freebsd-questions/19991017.freebsd-questions He had the same sort of problem, but there was no reply to it. Has anyone had this problem & solved it?
