It certainly a waste of space to quote it all back in an email without watching your Cc: line :-) I think it is very useful, and I belive like David that it should replace the file-list at the top of the commit. If folks want the revision lines, that's fine, but please don't take away the file list at the top. It allows you to really quickly look at various areas and directories, and it specificly covers the added and removed case, which isn't as obvious in the revlines data.
