It used to run -stable and has never panicked before AFAIR; I upgraded it to -current last week when I got it colocated. I suspect the panic was caused by overheating, since it doesn't make sense that it should panic in rename() and it was stuck between an ND Uniline 88/20 and a fridge (don't ask).
