I have also experienced this on an NCR PCI controller. >Description: After install of system, the boot manager comes up with the 'F1' type menu to select the boot. Pressing F1 repeats the menu with the default now not 'F1'. Repeated pressings produce no results. I have tried to use disklabel -B sd0 and have tried running sysinstall again, but have not been able to get the system to boot without using a floppy. >How-To-Repeat: I have repeated it twice --- once with NCR controller, once with 1542.
