I have a powered KVM unit for my Windows box and my FreeBSD box. If the power is lost (for whatever reason) and then comes back, the Windows seems to be able to recover without any serious problems. On my FreeBSD box however, the mouse freezes. If I try killing moused and then restarting it, the mouse acts incredibly messed up. The mouse doesn't move in the right directions, it moves incredibly fast and seems to be constantly highlighting and pasting stuff on the screen. The only way I've been able to 'fix' the moused behavior is to reboot my FreeBSD box. Is there a better way of resetting the mouse other than rebooting my box? my moused process: /usr/sbin/moused -z 4 -p /dev/psm0 -t auto I'm running FreeBSD 4.10-RELEASE-p2
