Hi folks, FreeBSD 5.2 ========= On multi-user shell # gnome-session could not start 'GNOME. It must start Xterm first and then from Xterm window starts GNOME. Besides GNOME takes long time to start. If booting to GUI login screen there are only 2 options there, KDE and Failsafe, for selection #cat /etc/ttys .... ttyv8 "/usr/local/bin/kdm -nodaemon" xterm on secure .... Kindly advise how to make 'GNOME' available for selection on the GUI login screen. Remark: KDE starting has no problem TIA B.R. Stephen Liu
