With the amount of new ports hanging in "needs triage" with nobody having
looked at them, I do think the advice is appropriate.  If maintainer-approv=
al
is set, the patch goes into the "Maintainer Approved" queue and is much more
likely to be processed quickly.  Feel free to process it anyway!
