That shouldn't (and doesn't). 4free OSS package contains its own drivers and don't need anything else (it actually conflicts with other sound drivers). But, as I said, it complains about some strange (and non-existant) IRQ conflicts, and tries to use IRQ 255 for SBLive and fails... while other drivers work (default FreeBSD driver don't show any info about IRQ, but the other one I mentioned in my previous post uses IRQ 19).
