If we don't like, we can axe it. While it is really not Gnome, I'd hate to see gkrellm dropped. It is still my favorite desktop app and is gtk2 based. It is hardly static with the last release being only 2 weeks ago. New features keep popping up including ACPI sensor displays and enhanced device management. If you don';t watch closely, it's easy to miss the enhancements, but they are there. gkrellm puts more useful information in less space than any app I have seen. -- R.
