I normally run gnome-terminal with three tabbed windows. When I logout using the Panel logout button, gnome-terminal dies but the shells associated with each tab do not die, but instead get reparented to init. If I use the WM "close window" control to force gnome-terminal to exit, then the shells die also. Has anyone else experienced this? Does it make any difference that I use ksh93? /Joe
