Instead, to purchase the Power Pak you mentioned; your best bet is to contact Wind River systems, which distributes many of packaged FreeBSD copies. FreeBSD supports all x86 based processors. Though for greatest stability, you definitely want to check the LINT kernel configuration file for any special flags and settings for your Cyrix processor. As for video support, that is done through XFree86. There is no known hardware issue that _I_ could find with any onboard display card except the one built into Dell GX100's. You will have to check with the XFree86 distrobution to see if your onboard video controller is supported.
