Date: Tue, 30 Jan 2001 18:20:05 -0800 From: Ken Key Sender: owner-freebsd-mobile@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Hi Folks, I updated my T21 BIOS to v1.04a (KZET22WW) and created an empty partition of ID 165 and my machine still booted. I haven't gotten to the point of actually installing/booting using a ptype of 165, but the problems I was seeing would cause the BIOS to lock up if there was just a partition of that type on the disk, so this does seem very likely to solve the problem folks were seeing with lock-ups.
