Hello! I read about the system requirement for building Openoffice. I have a short question: do I need 2Gb of physical RAM to build openoffice, or is it enough to have 1Gb RAM + 1Gb swap (my setting)? Does build knobs influence the build system requirements? I'm trying to build it with these options: -DWITH_KDE WITH_TTF_BYTECODE_ENABLED=1 WITH_MMX=1 -DWITHOUT_MOZILLA WITH_ICONS=KDE -DWITHOUT_GNOMEVFS=1 If 1Gb RAM + 1Gb swap is OK, do I have to quit other programs while building (eg. can I use my computer while I build it)? Please CC replies, for I'm not suscribed to this list. Thanks!
