Hi all, thanks for ur prompt reply. I ve follow as instructed, when key " ifconfig -a", following result xl0:flags=8843<UP,BOARDCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 media:100baseTX<full-duplex>(100baseTX<half-duplex>) May I know if this shows that system is running 100BaseT fullduplex? May I know what is the field "simplex" under flags mean? Is my system running only simplex? thanks Best Regards Max -----Original Message----- From: Todd Backman <todd@flyingcroc.net> To: Ludwig Pummer <ludwigp@bigfoot.com> Cc: Todd Backman <todd@mail.flyingcroc.net>; Max Neo Yew Hwee <maxnyh@singnet.com.sg>; freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG <freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG> Date: Thursday, September 02, 1999 5:12 PM Subject: Re: Fw: configure 100BaseT > >On Thu, 2 Sep 1999, Ludwig Pummer wrote: > >> Oops.
