 *   Bump the number of allowable args by a factor of 4.  I just scanned
 *   all possible packing lists and found that at least one of them is
 *   pretty large!

Jordan, I was scanning the tar man page today, and found this:

     --files-from file       Get names of files to extract or create from
                             file, one per line.

Maybe we can get rid of the limits altogether by copying PLIST
(without all the lines that start with an '@', of course) into a file?
