This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_0004_01BD7A62.132C83B0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Is FreeBSD supported on a Compaq Proliant 2000? I have had no luck = attempting to install various versions of Linux on this beast, they = don't support the on-board NCR SCSI controller. Also, if FreeBSD does = support the Proliant 2000, how easy is it to configure to support SMP? = My Proliant has two 486DX-50 processors, with slots for two more. = Pentium processor boards are also available. Seems to me that this would = make an ideal UNIX box. TIA for any help.
