I am trying to get my scanner to work. It shows as pass4 on bootup. There is no /dev/pass4 in the /dev directory. If I type ./MAKEDEV pass4 nothing happens. If I go to the /root directory and type /dev/MAKEDEV pass4 pass0,pass1,and pass3 appear in the root directory ,but no other. I really do not understand this. if anyone can give me a hand I would appreciate it.
