Give me a break.  Of course I read your commit message.  Of course I
understood this.  I'm saying that this version bump was a long time
ago and precluded me merging a verbatum copy from that time forward.

Also, merging in changes to fts impacts things like rm and the like
and many of the patches I've tested have broken subtle things in the
system elsewhere.  We'll see if that's the case with these fixes or
not.
