Actually, a "folder" is not what you would expect /var/mail/user to be.
A "folder" in the DOS world means a directory in the Unix world.
However /var/mail/user is not a directory, but a file.
It is called a folder, because it contains several mail messages, =
concatenated
one after the other.  Apart from the fact that it can contain more than =
one mail
message, it is a regular file.

All you need to do is something like:

	# cd /var/mail
	# for fname in * ;do
	    cd /home/$fname
	    mv /var/mail/$fname ./Mailbox
	done

This moves every file called USER in /var/mail to ~USER/Mailbox and
that's all you have to do :-)
