Either you want the > fine-grained control that `mirror' and `spegla' give you, or don't. it depends on what you're talking about. i often use rsync to ftp2 and ftp5, when they have the content available because it's much faster than ftp0, or because it's much cheaper for us to fetch less data by rsyncing over the top of existing data. but i also have to use mirror.pl to ftp0 (master) when sometimes none of the other archives have new content (e.g the 4.3 release) and the time wasted in waiting for them to update (which can be days/weeks) is longer than the time required to slowly download from ftp0. but i don't run rsync and mirror.pl over the same parts of the archive. -jason To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hubs" in the body of the message
