Freebsd 4.2 boots fine with it. The problem that I am having is when I am in the office, I want to connect an external keyboard to it but use the on-board keyboard when travelling. I installed FreeBSD using the on-board keyboard but when I connect the external keyboard to it, I get no response. I also have windows running on it and can easily switch between keyboards. Is there a setting or something that I need to change to get FreeBSD to recognize and activate the external keyboard when it is attached?
