I recently asked for help with setting NIS up on my fbsd boxes. I got everything running due to some great help from this mailing list but now I am getting res_mkquery errors on the NIS server. If anyone could give me some ideas on what is going on I would appreciate it. I read the man page on res_mkquery but didn't give me any clues on why it was having problems.
