during the installation of FreeBSD 2.0.5 we have problems
with booting from a 2 GB Seagate ST32430N Fast-SCSI-2 disk.
The SCSI controller is a Adaptec 2940.
After creating a bootable partition with a 200 MB root file system
and installation of the core system the boot manager has no access
to the partition.
All modification of the logical disk geometry have the same result.
Is there some information abort this problem and is solution?
The physical geometry of the disk is:
cylinders: 3992
heads: 9
sectorsper track: 119
unformatted capacity: 2590 MB
formatted capacity: 2140 MB
