--- Comment #35 from g_amanakis@yahoo.com ---
I just did a:
$ route get 8.8.8.8=20
and got:

   route to: google-public-dns-a.google.com
destination: default
       mask: default
    gateway: 69.251.142.1
        fib: 0
  interface: em0
      flags: <UP,GATEWAY,DONE,STATIC>
 recvpipe sendpipe ssthresh rtt,msec mtu weight expire
       0         0         0         0       576         1         0=20

However:
# netstat -i
Name Mtu Network Address Ipkts Ierrs Idrop Opkts=20
em0    1500 <Link#1>      00:aa:bb:cc:dd:ee   136920     0     0   103864=20
em0       - fe80::225:90f fe80::225:90ff:fe      190     -     -      107=
=20=20=20=20=20
em0       - 2001:558:6020 2001:558:6020:167      108     -     -       96=
=20=20=20=20=20
em0       - 69.251.142.0/ c-69-251-143-153.     4555     -     -     4982=
=20=20=20=20=20

em0 is the WAN-interface. Why is there this discrepancy? 576 versus 1500?
