But I am finding some postings about this Linux jiffie wraparound problem on the linux-kernel list. From Linus: http://www.uwsg.indiana.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/9810.2/0404.html It appears that some jiffie wraparound patches were available in Oct, 1999 and some patches were being discussed in May, 2000.
