IIRC configure finds gcj and then tries to compile the > Java stuff. Yes I do have gcc30 installed. I moved gcj and gcjh out of the way as you suggested and gettext-0.11.1 now builds. Thanks. Now, what is the proper fix? To have the gettext configure not look for gcj or to be able to build in the presence of gcj?
