Hello, I have been running FreeBSD 2.0 on my pentium system for 2 years. Today, I cannot boot the system. The erro messages are: /dev/rsd0a: UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY; RUN fsck MANUALLY Automatic file system chek failed ... help! ... ... ncr0 targ 0?: ERROR (80:1:0) (e0/e0) @ (18b77c:860b0000) ncr0: restart (fatal error). ncr0 targ 0: COMMAND FAILED (9 ff ff) @f019ce60. device bad Automatic reboot in 15 seconds - Rebooting ... That's all I have on my screen and the system halt. When I tried to reset the system again, I got the same problem. During the bootting of the system, I have no chance to interrupt it to do anything. Please advice me what should I do in order to access the hadr disk to get all my files out if the system have to reinstalled. Thank you! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Ian Y.J.
