I had spontaneous rebooting problems as well as failing buildworlds when I had two DIMM's combined with different CAS latency timings (8 ns and 7 ns). The system worked fine with only one of them. Needless to say that mixing up is a bad thing, however shops sometimes hardly know what they're selling... Karel.
