I came to find out that HP provides NO Warrantee on OEM versions of their tape drives. The supplier only provied manufacture's warrantees. HP15xx is an OEM product line. so I effectiyely had no warrentee to get the problem fixed. Something to be aware of. I would get your supplier to provide some sort of warrantee in WRITING b4 buying one of these. That said, I LOVE this drive. other than not being able to read some wangtek DDS-I tapes, it works great. fast, reliable, quiet, CHEAP media. Hopefully the DDS-I problem is fixed in the HP1534... -- Steve Passe | powered by smp@csn.net | FreeBSD
