Readline is a library, and thus programs linked with it would fall under the LGPL, which is not the same as the GPL by a long shot. I may yet grow to like it. -- ]] Mike Smith, Software Engineer msmith@gsoft.com.au [[ ]] Genesis Software genesis@gsoft.com.au [[ ]] High-speed data acquisition and (GSM mobile) 0411-222-496 [[ ]] realtime instrument control.
