Well, I've just read it diagonally. Can't say more than that it gives _a_
way to configure PPP, but without any references to other possibilities or
setup configurations. So when it fails (for what reason whatsoever), you're 
out in the dark. And this seems to be the problem with all ppp docs I've 
yet encoutered. Though, I might be wrong - and gladly.

What I have in mind (if I ever get to it) is a sort of manual that covers
all aspects of ppp. From modem setup - fequently a  problem related to ppp -
over getty defs, pap or chap or autoppp or login etc., to problem solving
in the ppp connection itself. Lots of work, but I really needed it myself
and couldn't find it at all. All information seems to be scattered all over
the place, with noone really knowing all of it. Well, don't get me wrong,
I'm not saying I do, but perhaps we could get all relevant info together.
