In particular, the point that was argued was that the previous date, the 8th, didn't allow enough time for people to test during this week (weekends, people have lives, other things to do, and so forth). That being the case, why are you now pulling the release date *forward*? A further push-back I could understand, given recent traffic on -stable, but forward?
