Hi all, I have problem I am trying to install XFree86 3.1.1 on FreeBSD 2.0-950210. Since it is natural to have 3-button mouse in X, I want to use Logitech 9F-NCD mouse. It's connected to COM1 (3f8h) and was detected by MSD. Upon boot, I can see the following message sio0 at 0x3f8-0x3ff irq 4 on isa sio0: type 16450 sio1 not found at 0x2f8 sio2 not found at 0x3e8 sio3 not found at 0x2e8 However, there's no tty00 (or tty01) device in /dev. If I try sh MAKEDEV tty00, I get the message tty00 - no such device name The same thing happens for tty01-03. Is that some kind of unsupported hardware or I'm doing something wrong? Any ideas? Thanks. -Serge splyaski@cmp.com
