In my kernel config I have : makeoptions DEBUG=-g #Build kernel with gdb(1) debug symbols and after running "make installkernel" I just cp /usr/obj/usr/src/sys/RHADAMANTH/kernel.debug /var/crash Is that really not good enough (if not, I'll do it like you've suggested, but I don't always keep /usr/obj around) ?
