I build the new Kernel and reboot the P.C. I have installed FreeBsd 4.0 in the same way on my previous IBM H/D with out any problem. I now have a new Seagate H/D. My P.C configuration is as Follows: Celeron500 256 MB Ram, 20 Gig H/D Seagate Barracuda III, Abit BE6II motherboard with HighPoint UDMA 66. I enclose my Kernel configuration files .
