Faulkner" X-Mailer: ELM [version 2.4 PL25 ME8b] Content-Type: text Sender: owner-current@freebsd.org X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk I had an interesting call this morning. Apparently, my FreeBSD work box which is connected to the intranet with NIS and AMD mounts has been runing calendar -a and sending out calendar messages for the entire site. Someone finally complained. It would be better if this option were not the default, at least not in the case where NIS is being used. We turned it off.
